Beginning with a hand stitched Buffalo hide crown, this piece is adorned from top to bottom with the spirit of the Great Plains culture!

Thirty magnificent, dark feathers, extended to a full 14 inches, radiate from the crown. Hand wrapped in red wool sinew, and plumbed at the base with fierce red feathers, with yellow above. The tips of each feather are plumbed with red and gray down feathers.

A beautiful bar style beaded headband in Czech and pony beads. Traditional colors of white, burgundy, dark blue, and dark green.

A magnificent array of dark pheasant feathers are stitched into the rear portion of the crown, facing downward, blending with the great Warriors flowing hair.

The upper inside of the crown is heavily plumbed with yellow red, gray and black assorted feathers for a lavished and brave appearance.

This piece  includes the handmade stand, composed of sandstone and Northern, Montana Pine.

The stand portion of this piece measures 21 inches high, with the total mounted display height of 29 inches.
