About this Product
-This piece is a non-native tribute to the Northern Plains Nations, faithfully and respectfully recreated in the traditional ways.
Now showing our first Northern Plains style beaded knife, sheath, and knife (Circa 1870.)
Lavished with exquisite, tribal design, and radiating with the pride of the Great Plains! The sheath is made with a top quality dear hide, hand-stitched in sinew.
A brilliant bead pattern in the upper section, representing duality, with a stripe and half triangle pattern below. This precise design reflects the exact detailing of the original historical piece.
Two leather straps at the opening function as the harnessing for the sheath. A gorgeous display of aged fringe radiates along the entire length of the sheath.
The blade of the knife is made from hand forged iron, and aged to authenticity. A full tang knife, slid into a hand-carved mahogany handle, studded with rivets, and wrapped with rugged rawhide.
The sheath measures roughly 11.5” by 2.5”, with the total length of 29“.
The dagger blade measures 7.” with a total length of 12.5”.
Fierce and rugged, yet perfectly eloquent. A truly amazing piece to add to your collection.
