About this Product
-This piece is a non-native tribute to the Northern Plains Nations, faithfully and respectfully recreated in the traditional ways.
Now showing our latest Northern Plains style tobacco bag. Meticulously decorated and aged to authenticity.
Beginning with a top quality tanned deer hide hand stitched in sinew, Eloquently beaded in a striking combination of colors.
A beautiful combination of yellow and royal blue frame both sides of this piece, with a white, green, and burgundy design at the opening.
The three beaded pyramids on the bags, front side, would more than likely correspond to Earth, sky, and man.
The precise tribal affiliation of the original piece is uncertain, however it was located in the Northern plains of the Dakota territory.
The opening is trimmed with short fringe, while the bottom displays a longer fringe pattern with metal French trader beads throughout.
The bag portion of this piece measures roughly 8” x 4 1/2”, with a total length of roughly 15 inches.
Beautifully beautifully crafted and visually stunning.
Thank you for enabling our shop to foster and support Native American heritage through the fine arts.
